Pattengill Middle Years Program is one of five, 4th through 6th grade sites in Lansing School District, and we are extremely excited to have your child attending school with us this year! Please know that we take your commitment to the Lansing School District and to Pattengill Middle Years Program very seriously, so if there is ever anything we can do for you, our doors are always open.

Bully Prevention Month was a huge Success! Celebrity Judges from our local law enforcement, business owners and central office all helped judged our amazing creative doors! Everyone was a winner!



Events For Upcoming Testing..

Statewide M-STEP Testing Windows -
April 11th-April 28th-5th grade Testing Window,
May 1st-12th-4th grade Testing Window,
May 2nd, 5th, 9th, 10th, 12th and 15th-26th is the 6th Grade Testing Window.

The AIMS WEB Testing will be held May 1st-May 22nd for all Grades 4-6.

RI Testing May 22nd- June 2nd.

      Save the Date!

      Tuesday, July 25 from 3:00-7:00 pm, the Lansing School District will be hosting its first annual kindergarten KIDZAPALOOZA event at the Welcome Center located at 2400 Pattengill Avenue in Lansing.

      If you have a kindergartner in your family or know someone who does, stop by the KIDZAPALOOZA event for food, fun and to enroll your child where everything is all in one place.

      *Birth Certificate, proof of residency and immunization records are required to complete your child’s enrollment.

Title IX - Sex Discrimination/Gender Equity/Sexual Harassment

What is Title IX?

Title IX prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any District program, service or activity including, but not limited to: educational programs or activities, e.g., extracurricular activities, student services, academic counseling, discipline, classroom assignment, grading, athletics, transportation, etc.

Unlawful Discriminatory Practices Under Title IX

Sexual Harassment (unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature)

Sexual Misconduct/Violence (rape, sexual assault, sexual battery, sexual exploitation and other forms of nonconsensual sexual activity)

Stalking (repeatedly following, harassing, threatening or intimidating including by telephone, mail, electronic communication or social media)

Retaliation (adverse academic or other actions against anyone reporting or participating in an investigation of Title IX allegations)
