Mr. Moreno

Mr. Moreno is from the valley of Texas, Harlingen but raised in beautiful Michigan since attending Lansing elementary schools, Pleasant View, Wexford, and Reo Road.  Continuing with Gardner Middle School and graduating from Everett High School's class of '94! With an Associate's Degree from Lansing Community College, a Bachelor's degree from Amridge University, and a Master's degree from Spring Arbor University. 

Mr. Moreno is a Licensed School Counselor (LSC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and National Certified Counselor (NCC).  With five-years of experience, Mr. Moreno enjoys helping families and students navigate the educational process with academic, personal/social, and career development. Mr. Moreno utilizes a strength-based and solution-focus approach.

Ms. West is originally from Southwest Michigan. This February, she will celebrate twenty-one years with Everett High School. Most of those years have been as a school counselor, but Ms. West originally came to Everett as a mental health therapist with CEI Community Mental Health. Ms. West earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University, making her a first-generation college student. After a few years of working in juvenile justice, Ms. West earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Central Michigan University. She is licensed as a School Counselor, LLPC (Limited License Professional Counselor) and LMSW (Licensed Master of Social Work) in the State of Michigan. Ms. West has been a resident of the City of Lansing for twenty-five years and believes strongly in our community, public education, and Lansing students! One of her greatest loves is animals and she actually intended a career in veterinary medicine when she began studying at MSU! She lives with her Cane Corso and two Pit bull rescues. She loves reading and all things outdoors.

Mrs. Falsetta

Mrs. Falsetta is originally from Mount Pleasant, MI. She has over 15 years of experience as a counselor for Lansing School District with almost all of those years being at Everett. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Michigan University where she was a double major in Dance and Psychology. Dance was Mrs. Falsetta’s first passion, she was classically trained from the time she was four years old.  After graduating from WMU, she lived briefly in NYC before moving back to Michigan to enroll in grad school.  Mrs. Falsetta completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Central Michigan University and was hired at Everett shortly after finishing her grad work. She is licensed as a School Counselor and an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in the State of Michigan. Mrs. Falsetta is married with two kiddos of her own. She enjoys spending time with family, working out and listening to country music.

Mrs. Kraus

Mrs. Kraus is the Rj-Z School Counselor at Everett. After graduating from Central Michigan University, she was a high school business teacher and coach before becoming a data analyst with the Michigan Department of Education. She earned her Master of Education degree in School Counseling from Grand Valley State University.

In addition to being an educator, Mrs. Kraus is also an Army Wife and a Hockey Mom. Most of her free time is spent freezing at hockey rinks but she also loves spending time on the water in the summer and traveling.
