Note:  The information below pertains to currently enrolled Lansing School District students.


Directions:  Learn more about our exciting summer camp opportunities using the expandable tabs below.  Note that the grade-levels referenced here refer to your child's grade-level during the 2022-2023 school year. 

You will need to know the CAMP CODE for each camp you would like your child to attend, so please note the CAMP CODE(S) prior to beginning the registration below.  Thank you. 


  To Infinity and Beyond   |   Multi-Night   |  Camp Code:  FULL

Does your child love space and science?  If so, this STEAM-themed summer camp will be a great fit.  This camp will also feature fun traditional summer camp activities and an off-campus day trip to an exciting museum.     

Dates/Times:  July 10-12.  This camp will run from 7:30 AM (Day 1) to 12:30 PM (Day 3).   

Costs:  This camp is FREE for currently enrolled Lansing School District students.  Food and transportation are provided. 

 


  Backyard Olympics   |   One-Night Camp   |   Camp Code: FULL


NOTE:  As of 5/11/23 this camp is FULL.  We are no longer accepting registrations for this camp. 

Tug-of-war, relay races, horse shoes, bag toss, bocce ball, and more.  This camp combines traditional summer camp activities with some friendly backyard competitions.      

Dates/Times:  June 26-27.  This camp will run from 7:30 AM (Day 1) to 4:30 PM (Day 2). 

Costs:  This camp is FREE for currently enrolled Lansing School District students.  Food and transportation are provided.   

 


  Magnificient Michigan   |   Extended Day Trip   |   Camp Code:  FULL

We are fortunate to live in the beautiful state of Michigan.  Arguably, Michigan is at its best in the summer, that is why we take such pride in sharing Michigan's natural wonders with campers.  Come celebrate our state by spending time exploring sand dunes and cooling off in Lake Michigan. 

Dates/Times:  July 13.  This camp will run from 7:30 AM to 8:30 PM. 

Costs:  This camp is FREE for currently enrolled Lansing School District students.  Food and transportation are provided.  


  Words, Woods, and Water   |   Multi-Night   |  Camp Code: FULL

Does your child love to write and tell stories?  If so, this writing-themed summer camp will be a great fit.  Joining our team for this camp will be a special "author-in-residence" guest Kelly Baptist author of Isaiah Dunn Is My Hero (2020) and Isaiah Dunn Saves the Day (2022).  This camp will also feature fun traditional summer camp activities.    

Dates/Times:  June 19-22.  This camp will run from 7:30 AM (Day 1) to 12:30 PM (Day4).   

Costs:  This camp is FREE for currently enrolled Lansing School District students.  Food and transportation are provided.

Junior Counselors   |   Various Camps   |   Camp Code: FULL


NOTE:  As of 4/19/23 this camp is FULL.  We are no longer accepting registrations for this camp. 

Enjoy working with kids and being outdoors?  If so, consider signing-up to be a Junior Counselor.  We have limited spaces available for current 7th and 8th grade students to serve as Junior Counselor at all of our overnight K-3 Summer Camps.  Junior Counselors will (a) support Ebersole and visiting staff members as they facilitate sessions and activities at camp, and (b) participate in all camp activities while modeling our C-OAR Values (being grateful, gritty, curious, and kind) for the younger campers.   

Dates/Times:  June 14, 27-28 & July 10-12.  Times vary based on each camps schedule.  We are asking Junior Counselors to commit to attending all of the listed dates.       

Costs:  Junior Counselors attend camp for FREE.  Food and transportation are provided.    

 


  High School Band Camps   |   Multi-Night Camp  |  Camp Code:  See below


We are excited to announce that all three Lansing School District high schools are holding band camps this summer.  If you are interested in participating in the marching band please contact your school's band director to find out how to participate in these wonderful programs and attend band camp.  

Dates/Times:  Everett High School's Band Camp will run from July 23-28.  Eastern High School's Band Camp will run from July 30 to August 4.  Sexton High School's Band Camp will run from August 13-18.  

Camp Codes:  Everett's code is EV0723.  Eastern's code is EA0730.  Sexton's code is SE0813.    

Costs:  $25.00 (this includes all meals and snacks, and transportation)

Special Note: A Health Officer is staffed on-site at the Ebersole Center 24 hours a day when campers are present. The Health Officer is responsible for distributing all medications to campers.
Special Note: All medication listed on this form must come with the camper. All prescriptions - including inhalers and EPI-Pens – MUST be in the original box or bottle showing the campers name, what time the medication is taken, and the dose.
Special Note: Medication is any substance a person takes to maintain and/or improve their health. This includes vitamins and natural remedies. Please provide enough of each medication to last the entire time the camper will be at camp. Expired prescriptions will not be dispensed.

Special Note: If there is a religious objection to consenting to receipt of emergency medical or surgical treatment, the authorized person shall submit a written statement to the effect that the camper is in good health and that the person signing assumes the health responsibility for the camper.
Special Note: State of Michigan licensing rule 400.11127(2) states that a camp shall maintain, in the camp, a health history statement signed by an authorized person for each camper and minor staff person.
