Under Construction   |   Extended Day Camp

With some anticipated construction on campus this summer we thought it would be fun to take a closer look at the way our natural world is constructed.  How do birds construct their nests?  Why do some animals choose to burrow underground?  Does a spider use a blueprint to build its web?  This camp will blend some traditional camp activities with exciting STEM based learning experiences.

Dates/Times:  June 20.  This camp will run from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM.

Costs:  This camp is FREE for currently enrolled Lansing School District students.

  Planet Protectors   |   One-Night Camp

Our staff love the natural spaces at the Ebersole Center and the wildlife that call it home.  That is why we take such pride in sharing these with campers.  Come celebrate our planet by doing fun activities that help us better understand how to protect it.  It’s never too early to learn how to be great stewards of the Earth.

Dates/Times:  June 27-28.  This camp will run from 7:30 AM (Day 1) to 4:30 PM (Day 2).

Costs:  This camp is FREE for currently enrolled Lansing School District students.

Color Me Wild   |   Two-Night Camp

Mother Nature’s palette is vibrant and impressive!  Why do certain plants and animals change colors throughout the year?  Why are flowers often so brightly colored?  Ever wonder why male and female birds of the same species look different?  During this two-night camp, we will explore various color-based adaptations of plants and animals.  If you like to create art, observe nature, and have fun, this is the camp for you.

Date/Times:  July 6-8.  This camp will run from 7:30 AM (Day 1) to 12:30 PM (Day 3).

Costs:  This camp is FREE for currently enrolled Lansing School District students.
