Our Herd

Our team doesn’t end with the people—our horses and donkeys help students develop speech skills, stress-management techniques, fine and gross motor skills, a sense of purpose, work ethic, confidence, and much more! Without them, our program would not be able to serve our students.

We take great pride in the care we give to our herd of horses to help them feel their best when helping our students. However, caring for a herd of fifteen horses is expensive for ECL, so many of our horses are available for sponsorship! Sponsors help us offset costs such as grain, supplements, veterinary expenses, supplements, and more! For more information on sponsoring a horse, please reach out to us at ecl@lansingschools.net.
