Bond Updates

Approved by more than 71% of voters in 2022, the Lansing School District’s $129.7 million bond initiative is transforming learning environments and investing in students.

Projects include new buildings for Mt. Hope, Willow, Lewton and Sheridan Road schools, along with renovations and updates to existing buildings. Mt. Hope opened in fall 2025, followed by Willow in fall 2026; Lewton and Sheridan Road are scheduled to open in fall 2028. 

Modern classrooms, updated technology and arts spaces support learning, creativity and collaboration. These investments reflect our community’s commitment to safe, welcoming schools with an eye toward the future.
