K-12 Multilingual Learner Enrollment
We are excited for you to make the Lansing School District your academic home!
Does your student speak a language other than English? Is the primary language at home a language other than English? If so, your student may qualify for English Learner services.
Please make sure to have these items ready to upload to the LSD Enrollment application for every individual student applying:
- Birth Verification (Birth Certificate or I-94, Passport, or Green Card)
- Proof of Residency (Utility bill or housing lease)
- Immunization records
Families/caregivers are also able to bring the documents above with them during their intake appointment.
How to Enroll:
Please start the enrollment process by completing a Lansing School District Enrollment application and a Multilingual Learner Intake Application for each student. After completing both applications, please schedule a Multilingual Learner Intake appointment at least 72 hours in advance. This link will take you to a calendar where you are able to select a time slot. Please allocate one time slot per 2 students to ensure appropriate time for English proficiency assessments are able to be completed.
