Grades K-2 Summer Camp Opportunities
Unicorns and Rainbows | x2 Half Day | Camp Code: K2UR617
Unicorns and rainbows define summer perfection—a blissful summer filled with joy, fun, unicorns, and rainbows. Students will have a blast discovering the fun activities that explore colors, art, horse costumes, and creative thinking!
Dates/Times: June 17 & 18. This camp will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Costs: This camp is FREE for currently enrolled Lansing School District students. Food and transportation are NOT provided.
Dapple & Design (Artist Week) | x2 Half Day | Camp Code: K2DD85
Get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience at our dapple and design camp! Students will enjoy hands-on time with horses, painting and decorating them, dressing them up, leading them, and learning horsemanship skills, all while exploring fun arts and crafts. Join us for a unique blend of equine adventure and artistic expression.
Dates/Times: August 5 & 6. This camp will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Costs: This camp is FREE for currently enrolled Lansing School District students. Food and transportation are NOT provided.
Grades 3-5 Summer Camp Opportunities
Western Adventure | x2 Half Days | Camp Code: 35WA729
Students will experience hands-on activities and get to enjoy trail riding while learning horse handling, roping, and other skills. With interactive activities and games this camp is the perfect opportunity for young riders to build confidence, develop skills, and create memories.
Dates/Times: July 29 & 30. This camp will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Costs: This camp is FREE for currently enrolled Lansing School District students. Food and transportation are NOT provided.
Everything Horse Junior | x2 Half Days | Camp Code: 35EHJ812
Students will experience hands-on activities and learn horse handling, caring for horses, anatomy, nutrition, and more! With interactive activities and games this camp is the perfect opportunity for students to build confidence, develop skills, and dive into the world of caring for a horse.
Dates/Times: August 12 & 13. This camp will run from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Costs: This camp is FREE for currently enrolled Lansing School District students. Food and transportation are NOT provided.
Grades 5-8 Summer Camp Opportunities
Overnight Horse Camp | x4 Full Days | Camp Code: 58ON714
During the week students will get immersed into the world of horses. They will work hands-on with our horses, tending to their basic needs, learning horse handling skills, grooming techniques, how to tack up a horse, and beginner riding skills. Students will be responsible for their horses throughout camp (with the support of staff) from feeding to cleaning their lots to preparing for a ride. This camp is set to focus on gaining confidence and independence while working with their equine partner.
Dates/Times: July 14 - 17. Drop-off will be at 9 AM on Monday, July 14th and pick-up will be at 5 PM on Thursday, July 17th. Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Equine Center for Learning.
Camp Location: This overnight camp will take place at the Ebersole Center, the Lansing School District Nature Center, located in Wayland Michigan.
Costs: This camp is FREE for currently enrolled Lansing School District students. Food and transportation to the Ebersole Center are provided.
