The School-Based/School-Linked Health Centers offer primary health care services, including:
- Annual/Sports/School/Work physicals and Well Child exams
- Treatment for minor illness and injuries
- Vision/Hearing screenings and follow-up
- Chronic disease management (Asthma, diabetes, obesity, etc)
- Immunizations
- Basic lab services and tests
- Counseling
- Health education
- Referral to community services
- Referrals for specialty services
The School-Based/School-Linked Health Centers provide the following confidential services to mature minors:
- Pregnancy testing
- Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) and HIV screenings, treatment and counseling
- Substance abuse education, counseling and referrals
- Crisis intervention and emergency care
- Mental Health assessment, counseling and referrals
- Physical/sexual abuse counseling and referrals
Family Planning services are available at Willow Health Center only. The School-based/School-linked Health Centers also provide services for the whole family, including free Medicaid Enrollment Assistance and appointment scheduling for medical or dental services for all ages through Ingham Community Health Centers.
