Community Events & Resources

The Lansing School District welcomes information about community events, programs, and resources that may benefit our students, families, and staff. To ensure content is appropriate and consistent with the District's mission, all submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Submission of content does not guarantee publication on the Lansing School District website.
• The Lansing School District maintains sole editorial discretion over all content submitted for publication and reserves the right to edit, decline, remove, or refuse to publish any submission at any time without notice.
• Publication of community information does not constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by the Lansing School District. The District does not explicitly endorse any event, organization, business, service, or resource featured on this page.
• Content must provide a clear educational, recreational, civic, or family benefit to Lansing School District students, families, or the broader school community.
• All submissions must include the name of the sponsoring organization, a contact person, a valid email address or phone number, and, when applicable, a website for additional information.
• Events, programs, or materials that promote or advocate for a particular religion, religious organization, or religious activity will not be accepted.
• Content that promotes, advertises, or depicts alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, cannabis, illegal drugs, gambling, firearms, or other age-restricted products or activities will not be accepted.
• Content containing sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate material will not be accepted.
• Content that is discriminatory, defamatory, misleading, unlawful, or inconsistent with the District's educational mission will not be accepted.
• Commercial advertising or solicitations intended primarily to generate private profit may be denied at the District's discretion.
• Submitted information must be accurate, current, and include all relevant event details, including dates, times, locations, and registration information, when applicable.
• The Lansing School District may edit submissions for grammar, spelling, formatting, length, clarity, accessibility, and consistency with District communication standards.
• Organizations are responsible for notifying the District of any changes or cancellations after content has been submitted.
• The Lansing School District assumes no responsibility or liability for the accuracy of information provided by outside organizations or for the operation of any event, program, or service promoted through community postings.
