Parking is available free of charge to guests that have secured graduation ceremony tickets. 

Guests of Sexton and Eastern must park in lots 63W and 63E, which are adjacent to the Jack Breslin Student Events Center.

Guests of Everett must park in Ramp 7 Parking Lot 14, which is located off South Harrison Road.

Sexton Graduation Ceremony 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Everett Graduation Ceremony 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
Eastern Graduation Ceremony 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Hill Vocational Center (Auditorium)

Parking is available free of charge to graduate's family members and guests. 

Attendees and graduates should park in the south lot, enter through Door 32 and proceed to the auditorium.

Students for the class of 2025 should contact their school counselor to ensure they are on track to graduate and are prepared for postsecondary pursuits.

The Lansing School District partners with several community organizations that assist students meet their higher education goals. Opportunities for financial aid and assistance can be pursued by contacting the following organizations directly or with help from school guidance administrators.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) -  complete the application to determine if you are eligible for grants, scholarships, work-study programs, and loans for college or career training.

The Lansing Promise- every student that graduates from the Lansing School District may take advantage of the Lansing Promise Guarantee Scholarship or be eligible for a Lansing Promise Scholarship.

Capital Area College Access Network (CAPCAN) - assistance with completing a family's FAFSA and resources that include financial aid opportunities from across the United States - find the right college/university. 

Lansing Educational Advancement Foundation (LEAF)- provides scholarship and fellowship opportunities for Lansing School District students.

Lansing SAVE/MSUFCU- information about the college savings program that benefits Lansing School District students.

BOLD Lansing- free resources to help students plan and prepare for the costs associated with postsecondary education and life after high school.

Michigan Achievement Scholarship- designed to help recent high school graduates in Michigan receive funds for continuing education.

Michigan Reconnect- a last dollar scholarship program that pays for your to attend in-district community college tuition-free or offers a large tuition discount if you attend an out-of-state community college.

What is Title IX?

Title IX prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any District program, service or activity including, but not limited to: educational programs or activities, e.g., extracurricular activities, student services, academic counseling, discipline, classroom assignment, grading, athletics, transportation, etc.

Unlawful Discriminatory Practices Under Title IX

Sexual Harassment (unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature)

Sexual Misconduct/Violence (rape, sexual assault, sexual battery, sexual exploitation and other forms of non-consensual sexual activity)

Stalking (repeatedly following, harassing, threatening or intimidating including by telephone, mail, electronic communication or social media)

Retaliation (adverse academic or other actions against anyone reporting or participating in an investigation of Title IX allegations)

Reporting Prohibited Behavior

Members of the school district community who believe that a Title IX violation may have occurred, should discuss their concerns and/or file a complaint with the District’s Title IX coordinator:
