The Technology Department reviews, recommends, and approves all technology purchases to help ensure compatibility, security, supportability, and cost-effectiveness across the District. This process helps protect District resources by making sure new devices, software, and services align with existing systems, instructional and operational needs, and established technology standards. Involving the Technology Department before a purchase is made also helps avoid duplicate tools, unsupported products, and unexpected implementation or support challenges.
