Suicide Prevention and Intervention

We can no longer stand aside and watch as the youth in our community continue to struggle with mental health issues that are leading to suicidal ideation and attempts due to lack of support and feelings of helplessness. The facilitator will provide participants with resources to support children who are struggling with the challenges of life, as well as the risk factors associated with suicidal ideation and attempts. Participants will learn how to have fruitful conversations with children regarding their mental and emotional well-being as a means of early prevention of suicidal ideation.
