Student Development Program - Summer Schedule

• Event: Free Winter Clothing Giveaway

  • Friday, September 26, 9 am–5 pm (Voucher Holders Only)
  • Saturday, September 27, 9 am–2 pm (Open to the Public)
• Location: The Salvation Army Distribution Center, 3305 S. Pennsylvania, Lansing, MI 48910
• Available Items (gently used): Women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, plus winter coats and boots (all sizes)
• Additional Details:
  • All items are free on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Clothing is replenished throughout the day—no “best time” to shop
  • Families may share a voucher
• Voucher Information: Lansing School District families can obtain vouchers from their child’s school office or the district’s Halik Center, 4200 Wainwright Ave.

In an effort to make Lansing School District athletic events enjoyable and safer for all in attendance, ALL spectators must adhere to the following: 

• Students in 9th-12th grade must attend the Lansing School District or the visiting school. 
• All students in 9th-12th grade must have a current school ID. 
• Students 8th grade and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 
• No re-admittance at any time. 
• No admittance after halftime. 
• No outside food or drinks are allowed. 
• No alcoholic beverages, controlled substances, or tobacco are allowed. 
• No weapons are allowed on school property. 
• Bags of any variety larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches are not allowed. This includes diaper bags, backpacks, and camera bags. 
  • Bags and purses may be inspected for security purposes. 

Tickets to athletic events involving Eastern High School, J.W. Sexton High School,  and Everett High School should be purchased online via GOFan. Please use the links below listed for each high school.
