Lids for Kids Event - Saturday, May 16, 2026
Children and families are invited to join the fun at Lids for Kids, now in its 23rd year in Lansing.

Children will receive a free, properly fitted bike helmet from trained helmet fitters and learn simple tips for staying safe while riding.
Kids who wear their new helmet can also enter for the chance to win a bike! Plus, meet local police officers and firefighters, tour a real fire engine, and enjoy games, activities, and hands-on fun for all ages. It’s a FREE safety event packed with excitement—something for every kid (and kid at heart).
